The signing of Nikola Mirotic by Partizan is a matter of hours. If things don’t go wrong, the Montenegrin will become the new star of the team led by Zeljko Obradovic… but his main source of income will continue to be Barça, his will still be his team. In order to sign for the Serbian team, Mirotic has to disassociate himself from Barça first, an essential procedure that is about to arrive, but that does not mean that the relationship between the player and the Barça club ends there. As Eurohoops has learned, Barça will pay Mirotic almost all of the guaranteed 22 million euros that are established in his contract with the Catalan team. Although the exact percentages are not known, the vast majority of the sum to be received by Mirotic will go to Barça, while Partizan will be in charge of completing his salary with a much smaller contribution.
