Newcomer Rasta Vechta has brought the NBA-experienced basketball pro Wes Iwundu to the German Bundesliga. The 28-year-old American signed a one-year contract in Vechta, the club announced.
Iwundu played a total of 236 games in the world’s top league for the Orlando Magic, the Dallas Mavericks and the Atlanta Hawks. Vechta is now his first foreign station.
“It’s really not easy getting into the NBA and making your mark there,” said Rasta coach Ty Harrelson. “Wes came out of a very good college and has only performed once in the NBA. Now he wants to try something new and perform here.”
