While SK Rapid played another test match on Tuesday evening in Kirchschlag (Lower Austria’s southernmost municipality) as part of the summer preparations for the 2023/24 ADMIRAL Bundesliga season, playing against the Czech first division team since 6 p.m Sigma Olomouc hits, fall with central defender Nenad Cvetković and striker Fally Mayulu two new summer additions to the Hütteldorfers.
“Although we assume that it’s nothing bad”
27-year-old Serb Nenad Cvetković saw a thigh injury knock out newly promoted Ukrainian Premier League FC Polissya Zhytomyr in last Saturday’s friendly match after 33 minutes.
SK Rapid head coach Zoran Barisic (Photo) opposite the Kronenzeitung: “We had to take him out of training. It’s gotten a little better now, but Nenad will still undergo an examination in Vienna. We assume it’s nothing serious.”
While the 20-year-old, 1.93 meter tall Frenchman Fally Mayulu (came from BL promoted FC Blau-Weiss Linz) is rested due to an overload at Hütteldorfer.
The green-whites will have another practice gallop on Friday against St. Johann/Pongau, before the “Open Day” takes place the following day on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Allianz Stadium.
