The Miranda judo team, Infantile A category, won a gold medal and three bronze medals in the national championship of the specialty.
The sports event, in which 12 states of the country participate, takes place at the facilities of the El Limón Gymnasium, in Maracay, Aragua state, from July 5 to 7.
Kimberly Medina, in the women’s 28 kilograms category, was the winner of the gold recognition for the Miranda cause.
For his part, Nicohl López, in the women’s 47 kilograms, Juan Acosta, in the men’s 52 kilograms, and Aarón Díaz, also in the men’s 52 kilograms, hung the bronze metal.
This Friday the National Judo Championship will continue with the competitions of the athletes in the Children’s B category.
