Ludwigsburg (dpa/lsw) – The MHP giants Ludwigsburg have signed the 18-year-old Dominykas Pleta from the Basketball Löwen Erfurt. The Swabians announced on Thursday that the forward had signed a multi-year contract. Pleta will be equipped with a double license and should belong to both the Bundesliga squad and the Ludwigsburg ProB squad.
«I am delighted that Dominykas has chosen our program. He’s had a good ProB season and has a really realistic chance of playing in three positions,” said Riesen head coach Josh King about the newcomer. “As a three, four and small ball five – he can throw, is extremely talented.”
