Lomage will leave the Oldenburg club

The 27-year-old defender Lomažs continues to heal the knee cruciate ligament injury he suffered in mid-January, but he has not lost hope of representing Latvia in the World Cup finals.

At the beginning of the season, Lomaž represented the Spanish club “Casademont” of Zaragoza, but in the fall, before the international break, the two sides parted ways. In ACB, he averaged 6.2 points and 1.2 assists in 20 minutes in five matches, while in the Bundesliga, the Latvian averaged 9.1 points and 3.3 assists in 20 minutes in nine matches.

The season before that, the Latvian basketball player played in the Turkish championship, representing Denizli “Yukatel Merkezefendi Belediyesi” team. Before that, since 2019, Lomaž represented the French club ASVEL of Villers-Bains, which plays in the ULEB Euroleague, spending half the season in the German team “Gottingen”.

Before becoming a legionnaire, Lomažs played for Latvian club “Ventspils” for four seasons, becoming the national champion. Before that, Lomaž developed his skills in the Ventspils “Spars” team, and also played in Jelgava and Jūrmala units in the strongest league in Latvia.
