Jouy. AG badminton jouy. The association Les Plum’Eure de Jouy held its general meeting on Friday, June 29, in front of around thirty members. Were present, for the occasion, Yohan Penel, president of the French Badminton Federation, Kim Nivault, president of the Centre-Val de Loire league, Séverine Cornevin, president of Codep 28 (departmental committee) and Jean-Yves Nivault, former President of Codep.
The club currently has 106 members, aged 6 to 65. “We want to bring more young people into competition by strengthening training, and try to have more people in bad health with two slots, Mondays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ” , underlined the president, Thierry Dumont. Next year we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the club. There will be festivities with a meal, and we will try to bring together all the licensees since the beginning of its creation. In addition, we will organize a trip, during a tournament, and theme parties such as Halloween or Christmas.
The next assembly provides for the election of a new president, since Thierry Dumont, creator of the association, does not wish to renew his presidency. The president of the Federation clarified that he wanted to help the club because “he saw, on social networks, all the initiatives of the president”.
