New entry in the Ospedaletti technical staff for the 2023/2024 season. The company has chosen Leandro Di Franco for the role of coach of the 2008, the team of the orange youth sector which last season brought home the victory in the regional championship of the category thus detaching the pass for the national phase.
Di Franco began his career coaching the Primi Calci, Pulcini and Esordienti del Dolceacqua from 2016 to 2018. In the same period he carried out technical updates at Genoa with grassroots activity and competitive leverage. In 2019 he obtained the Uefa B license and in the 2019/2020 season he coached the Under 16 Allievi of Ventimiglia before moving on to the Allievi 2017 the following year, always among the ranks of the grenade.
Then two seasons in the youth sector of Camporosso first as coach of the Giovanissimi Under 14 and then at the helm of the Giovanissimi Under 15. Finally in 2022 he participated in the course “Le strada dei mister” together with several professional coaches.
“I chose Ospedaletti because I want to work with guys who already start from a good level and a regional title, the goal is to always improve – comments Leandro Di Franco – I know it won’t be easy, it’s a challenge to join a group united and who have been playing together for many years. The results don’t worry me, they are important but they are not a priority. My intention is to see a team that plays well, that feels good together and offers their game. I tell the boys that if we all have mutual trust we will certainly have fun, the results will come accordingly”.
