While the Lakers have been very active since the market opened, that doesn’t change a few hours later, with a very important new signing for the future. It’s Anthony Davis and the fans who can smile.
With 4 recruits from the first hours, the Lakers have hit the free agency market hard, much like the Suns. We understood that Rob Pelinka wanted to strengthen this workforce in key positions and we can say that his mission has been a success. Not totally either, since we still had to find a pivot behind Anthony Davis. It’s done.
Free agent center Jaxson Hayes has agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, sources tell ESPN.

Free agent Jaxson Hayes has agreed to a two-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Limited to 13 minutes with the Pelicans last year, with 5 points and 2.8 rebounds on average, Hayes remains a young 23 year old, eager to find his chance. Good news for the Lakers, who needed a pivot to complete this roster. Another arrival in the racket, with Mo Bamba, is not impossible either.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The long-awaited pivot is here for the Lakers, and he’s a very interesting signing for the future. Relief among the supporters, especially as Hayes will be keen to prove himself in the City of Angels.
