Justin Herbert Signs Lucrative 5-Year Extension with Chargers

Unsurprisingly, Justin Herbert extends with the Chargers

Good news for the Chargers and their fans. The franchise has reached an agreement with Justin Herbert for a new contract.

The quarterback signs a 5-year agreement and 262.5 million dollars according to the first figures communicated. With this extension, Herbert is therefore under contract with the franchise until 2029.

If the collective “success” is not yet there, the player’s decision and extension was obvious. Since his arrival and tenure, the number 10 Chargers has launched for 14,089 yards and 102 touchdowns. No quarterback has done better in his first three seasons… Obviously the franchise had every interest in blocking his future as quickly as possible.

The Chargers’ offseason is therefore partly successful with this extension. Now it’s a first playoff victory that is expected from California.
