Jalen Wilson’s Late Field Goal Secures Brooklyn Nets’ Victory over Toronto Raptors in NBA Summer League

Jalen Wilson hit the game-changing field goal late in overtime and the Brooklyn Nets defeated the Toronto Raptors 99-94 in the NBA Summer League on Thursday.

The Raptors have yet to taste victory in four games in the summer league.

Ron Harper Jr and Joe Wieskamp led the Raptors with 19 and 18 points. Center Moses Brown added a brace of 11 points and 10 rebounds. Wieskamp struggled from the perimeter, however, hitting just two of his nine shots.

In addition to his game-winning field goal, Wilson led the Nets with 17 points. Four of his teammates have amassed at least 13 points.

The Raptors’ first pick (13th) overall in the last draft Gradey Dick was not in uniform for this game. Dick had 22 points Wednesday and averaged 14.3 points in three games.

The Torontonians will play one last game in the summer league this weekend. Their opponent has still not been determined.
