Iberia launches cadet program |

Iberia has launched the third edition of its cadet program in collaboration with the Flight Training Europe (FTE) school in Jerez.

With this, until July 21, those interested in training as pilots may present their candidacy through the program’s website, where the requirements and conditions can also be consulted.

The objective of the program is to select the most qualified professionals by participating in their training and, at the same time, promoting the profession of pilot by helping to finance their training.

Iberia Cadetes is a program to also promote the profession of pilot among young people, helping them to finance their training under very advantageous conditions so that they can develop their vocation.

Once the Iberi-FTE Jerez cadet training program has been completed, Iberia’s interest is to facilitate, to the extent that the required conditions are met, the incorporation of these cadets into the labor market through the Iberia group airlines to that in this way they can also start with the return of Iberia’s contribution to their studies.

Specifically, Iberia has already incorporated 19 pilots from the two previous editions of the program. Now 16 candidates will be selected who are expected to begin their training in the last quarter of 2023.

Between Iberia and FTEJerez they jointly select the candidates to join a training program that will allow them to obtain the ATPL air transport license and that will be financed 50% and without interest by Iberia.
