Curry celebrated this blow by ripping off his hat and then sprinting the almost 140 meters to the flag, high-fiving it, doing a lap of honor and running back to his companions, who had only briefly tried to run with him.
Afterwards, the 35-year-old joked on NBC, “154 yards is a little longer than 94 feet on a basketball court. I’ll be out of breath for the rest of the day – but for good reason.”
By his own admission, it was the second hole-in-one of his golfing career.
