German Tennis Pro Dominik Koepfer Shines at ATP Atlanta Tournament, Heading to Quarterfinals

Tennis pro Dominik Koepfer reached the quarterfinals at the ATP tournament in Atlanta. The former world number 50. from Furtwangen in the Black Forest won 2: 6, 7: 6 (7: 3), 6: 4 against Daniel Evans, who was in third place, and thus continued his upward trend. In the first round, Koepfer celebrated his first win of the year on the ATP tour against six-time tournament winner John Isner (USA).

The 29-year-old is the only German at the hard court tournament in the US state of Georgia.
