German Kickboxers Dominate European Games in Kraków

The German kickboxers Al Amin Rmadan (Lünen) and Sandro Gabriel Peters (Kornwestheim) won the gold medal at the European Games in Kraków, Poland. In the light-contact class up to 79 kg, 25-year-old Rmadan won the final against Lajos Imre Fesu from Hungary 3-0. In the semi-contact class up to 84 kg, Peters prevailed against the Irishman Conor Johnson McGlinchey with 16:15.

Rmadan’s club colleague Anis Triqui (Lünen) had previously missed the gold medal in the same class up to 63 kg in the final against the Italian Ivan Penzo (0:3). Aline Sophia Sodjinou (Hamburg) also lost her final on Sunday. In the women’s full-contact class up to 70 kg, the 34-year-old lost 2-1 to Serbian Aleksandra Krstic.
