The Mobies’ First Game of the Year (GOTY) Award Goes to ‘Genshin Impact’

The inaugural Mobies took place last night (July 14th) at the Infinity Reality Studio in Los Angeles, an event celebrating the outstanding contributions of the mobile gaming industry and aiming to become the premier ceremony in its field.

Hosted by Daniel “dGon” Gonzales, Elyse “Herculyse” Herrera and Garrett “Shady” Smith JR, the inaugural Mobies presented 13 awards to the best in the business. Among the big winners are ‘Genshin Impact’, which won the award for Mobile Game of the Year; ‘Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’, winner of Competitive Game of the Year; and ‘Clash of Clans’ content creator, Judo Sloth, who earned the title of Mobile Content Creator of the Year.

The inaugural Mobies also presented a surprise award to S8ul Esports for Global Impact on Mobile Gaming, recognizing organizations that go “above to improve and empower the industry”.
