Gabby Williams Signs with Jordan Brand and Returns to the Seattle Storm in the WNBA

WNBA – After formalizing her signing with Jordan Brand this weekend, the Franco-American is now back with the Seattle Storm.

Gabby Williams was present at Roland-Garros this weekend for Quai 54, an event co-organized by Jordan Brand with three NBA superstars sponsored by the brand at the Jumpman: Zion Williamson, Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum.

The opportunity was perfect to formalize the signing of the Franco-American player, international tricolor, with Jordan Brand.

“It doesn’t even seem real that they’re making this announcement during Pier 54 in France”declared the champion of France with Asvel who therefore goes from adidas to the brand of Michael Jordan. “Being part of this project gave me a lot of hope, just seeing Jordan’s commitment to women. It’s been a week since I signed, and already they are interested in what I want to do outside of just being a player. They also listened to my French side and made sure to make this announcement here. I think it says a lot when a brand as important as Jordan cares so much about women’s basketball. It will help him develop it exponentially”.

In the process, it was her return to the WNBA, at the Seattle Storm where she had already played last year, which was formalized.

“It’s so good to be back in Seattle. I’m very excited to be able to join the team and I can’t wait to get started. I’m ready to get back to work with the girls and the staff and I can’t wait to finish the season on a high.”she added.

Details of the deal were not disclosed. It then remains for the Storm to decide on her return to the game since the player of the French team is recovering from a concussion, the cause of her absence with the Blues and her delayed return to the WNBA.
