Fortuna Düsseldorf has chosen attractive opponents for the first phase of its “Free Spins Project”. Admission to the home games against 1. FC Kaiserslautern, FC St. Pauli and Eintracht Braunschweig will be free in the coming season as part of the sensational “Fortuna for everyone” concept.
“We have listened a lot in recent weeks and taken into account the criticism and ideas of many fans. We are very happy to be able to take off and take the next step with the pilot phase,” said CEO Alexander Jobst on Monday.
“Fortuna for everyone” should result in free access to all home games over several seasons. This is made possible by three strategic partners, from whom the club has collected a total of 45 million euros over the next five years.
This income is used for a specific purpose, with mandatory shares for the promotion of young talent, the Fortuna women’s section and infrastructure and digitization projects.
