Offside would be whistled when the attacker’s entire body is behind the last opposing defender.

Refereeing in football is constantly reinventing itself. According to the media DirecTVSports FIFA is reportedly considering adopting a new offside rule. To be offside, the attacker’s entire body would have to be offside. A player whose body part is covered would therefore not be in an offside position.

Sweden, the Netherlands and Italy should adopt this rule in the form of a test during several matches to evaluate it.

Often decried for offsides of a few millimeters, the new rules of illegal positions in football are not unanimous. This should also be debated.
