Transfer target Kane – These would be the possible consequences for Bayern’s offensive stars

Negotiations are still ongoing, but FC Bayern are going all out for Harry Kane. Should the English striker actually sign on at Säbener Straße, this would have far-reaching consequences for the record champions’ current offensive staff.

FC Bayern is courting hard for Harry Kane. However, there is a possibility that the change will fail, at least this summer. In this case, there is a plan B in which two names play a role.

The poker with Tottenham Hotspur for the desired striker Harry Kane (29) continues. But the bosses of FC Bayern have good reason not to get hectic. According to information from SPORT BILD, there has long been an internal decision in the club: FC Bayern also wants to bring Kane to Munich in the event that the Londoners refuse to release their striker. If not this summer for a multi-million transfer fee, then on a free transfer in the summer of 2024 when his contract expires.

The record champion’s approach should be coordinated with the English national striker. Kane should also show willingness to switch to the Bundesliga in a year if necessary. The Bayern bosses have a trump card up their sleeve against Tottenham boss Daniel Levy. He is said to have already tried to change Kane’s mind with a salary increase so that he would ignore Bayern’s advertising. So far without success.

FC Bayern would of course prefer to have Kane in their squad from this summer. However, there is also a plan B and deals with alternative storm candidates who could bridge a year without Kane.

A name that plays a role in the considerations is the Argentine world champion Julián Álvarez (23). The striker is under contract with Manchester City until 2028 – but above all in the shadow of Erling Haaland (22). Bayern are therefore betting there is a chance for a one-year loan deal with Álvarez. Another candidate is Dusan Vlahovic (23), who was also unseen at Juventus in his first season.

So Bayern plans with the goalkeepers

A loan striker like Álvarez, together with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (34) and the talent Mathys Tel (18), could give Bayern a broader attack than last season.

The attitude of the club management when it comes to goalkeeping is: If Manuel Neuer (37) is one hundred percent fit after his long injury, he is set in goal. That’s why Yann Sommer (34) is also busy recruiting Inter Milan, whose goalkeeper André Onana (27) is moving to Manchester United. Sommer has a release clause.

Meanwhile, Bayern is looking for a replacement. There was already a meeting between Giorgi Mamardashvili’s management (22/FC Valencia) and Marco Neppe, Bayern’s technical director, in Munich.

Neuer’s comeback at the start of the league is becoming increasingly unlikely

The comeback of national goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is apparently further delayed. A deployment of the Bayern captain at the start of the Bundesliga is “increasingly unlikely”. The question of who will be Munich number 2 in the future also remains open.
