third round

Hisayoshi Harasawa (China, Chofu Kosan) ○ Predominance[有効・内股]△ Shuhei Kawada (Kyushu/Asahi Kasei) Kuki Harasawa is “effective”

Four fights with Harasawa on the right and Kawada on the left. Kawada thrusts the fishing hand from below, and Harasawa puts it on the back of the neck from above, and the battle continues. Harasawa pulls the sleeves slightly, raises the fishing hand’s elbow and deftly releases his right inner thigh. Immediately after 48 seconds, “guidance” with a passive game attitude to Kawada. When Kawada, who was aroused, thrusts his fishing hand in front and asks for a pull, Harasawa dislikes it and withdraws. As expected by Kawada, 1 minute 11 seconds, Harasawa made a gesture with one hand and gave a “guidance”, and the score returned to a tie. Harasawa had the upper hand in the next turn. Kawada is in front, but Harasawa confronts him with his fishing hand on and brings it into his specialty, the offense and defense on the outside of the field. Kawada collapses greatly. From almost the same development, Harasawa put in “Uchimata / Kouchi” to break it down at 2 minutes 25 seconds, Kawada’s passive game attitude “Instruction 2”. Kawada picked up his pace and pushed Harasawa back into the corner with a one-handed left Osotogari. As soon as Kawada’s body floats, he contacts the involvement and drops it from his body side, gaining 3 minutes and 15 seconds “effective”. Kawada, who was behind, attacked fiercely, and won in a good way through a surprise kumite that points to the right collar with the right. However, Harasawa, who was completely crushed, used his time with groundwork, and Kawada’s left caster, which he attacked next, was not effective because he held him down in the valley before the impact. The end buzzer sounded here, and Harasawa’s victory was decided. (Commentary by Hideki Furuta)

FurutaThe first match of the third round between Kuki Harasawa and Shuhei Kawada. Is it okay for Professor Jomizu to do this?

Sheung ShuiIn this match, Uchimata’s “effective” became the final goal. I don’t want to say too much about the effect of the technique, but my honest impression is that if that was the end of the story, I would have liked to see a little more. Of course, there was momentum, and the current International Judo Federation match refereeing regulations, the so-called “IJF rules”, might be said to be “techyu”, but… It’s similar to the topic I mentioned earlier, but I think that the standards for “effectiveness of techniques” in the All Japan Championships should be clearly defined. It’s good that you brought in the color coding of “valid”. However, it is possible that the same technique may not even be considered “effective” at the All Japan Championships, even if it is equivalent to “giyuu” in the International Judo Federation match refereeing regulations. It’s just my personal feeling, but I had that impression about this technique.
