ORLANDO — Evangelist Nick Vujicic has an urgent appeal to what he sees as an increasingly “melodramatic” American church: Repent and speak out against pressing issues like abortion, porn addiction and sex trafficking before it’s too late.

In an interview with The Christian Post during the annual National Religious Broadcasters Convention, the 40-year-old founder of Life Without Limbs said: “I To think that most churches are delusional.”

“I’m not praying for revival, I’m praying for repentance. I don’t think America deserves God’s blessings anymore, none of them. We need to repent. Not only do we need to move away from pornography, we need to equip and encourage the church to move in this direction: How do you stay away from pornography Addiction? How do you now involve families in your church in nurturing and adopting?”

He continued: “It’s not too hard to preach to 8 billion people. We can have an army of churches come together and teach people how to evangelize and do street evangelism, like we did years ago. Last time you heard The pastor told his church: ‘This is how you preach the gospel to others about Jesus Christ. This is how you share your testimony in three minutes. This is how you should when Islam tells you we are serving the same God. reaction.’ We don’t even talk about that anymore.”

Hu Zhe has been to 78 countries and preached to as many as 800,000 people. He expressed concern about the situation of many American churches, pointing out that quite a few American churches are burdened with huge debts, while the country is facing urgent social problems.

“We have 100,000 churches in the United States with half their buildings empty and $498 billion in debt. We have 500,000 children waiting for foster or adoptive parents. Where are we?

He said the church must step up and act as the “hands and feet” of Jesus, working at the grassroots level to address issues. He urged Christians to be active on city councils, school boards, and other local political committees to speak out for good.

He said: “Christian[需要去]school board. “Don’t just complain about what’s going on in your school district, get your church involved,” he said. I truly believe that Christians are the light in the darkness when it comes to media, politics, and business. “

He also emphasized the importance of pastors addressing sensitive topics such as “pornography addiction in the church” and sex trafficking from the pulpit: “It’s a problem; we need to start talking about it, and we need to talk about a lot of things.”

“I hope this wakes us up as God’s people to unite like never before and pray for our country for a man of God to lead our country and bring our country back to God’s rule,” he said. under.”

Nick Vujic’s passion for the gospel is reflected in his constant efforts to bring about positive change in society. His ministry program, Champions for the Brokenhearted, trains church members to support those suffering trauma and pain in small group activities to help them heal and find strength in Christ.

“We’re training lay church members who have their hearts out about veterans, foster children, women with PTSD from abortions that they’ve never mentioned to anyone, to talk about what they’ve been through,” he said. Do small group activities on themes and heal the brokenhearted.”

“I don’t think the American church has stopped healing the saved. When you’re healed, you’re whole,[力量就会]Spill, and go help other people in need. I think it’s important. I think we need to get back to basics,” he said.

But he said evangelism starts at home. As a father of four, Hu Zhe stressed the importance of communication and open dialogue with his children. He encourages parents to find resources, such as videos and testimonies, to reinforce biblical values.

He praised those who addressed controversial topics such as gender identity and sexual orientation, adding: “I am grateful to the few remaining who are speaking out. Go out and instill truth in them.”

“We have to be stronger and braver and tell them the truth with love,” he said.

He added that open communication is also key to building strong families and creating an environment where children feel loved, valued and encouraged every day.

“In the United States, one in three girls has been sexually abused. One in five boys has been sexually abused. Think about it. It’s unbelievable,” he said. “Fentanyl is everywhere. Kids are dying partying, drugged, drunk like never before. We have to be vigilant, we have to be tougher. But tell them the truth. Talk to them.”

In a society that doesn’t value family, the evangelist urges Christians to invest in cultivating strong family bonds, warning: “The devil is laughing out loud in your face like never before. So pray, learn to pray. Learn how Communicate with kids, teach them, show them. Tell them ‘you’re beautiful’ every day.”

“Tell them to dream big. Tell them to go further than you,” he added. “Tell them, because if you don’t talk, they can’t do it.”
