(Tuesday, July 11, 2023) The Estella Badminton Club participated last Saturday, the 8th, with three players, in the VIII Virgen Blanca rankable territorial tournament, in sub 15, sub 19 and senior categories, where they won the mixed doubles sub 15, Irati Baquedano and Héctor Márquez, the latter from Club Badminton Pamplona. The next competition for the Estella Badminton Club will be on July 29, the date on which it will travel to the town of Ferreries (Balearic Islands) to play a Top TTR Sub11, Sub13, Sub15, Senior and Inclusive.

THE ESTELLA BADMINTON CLUB (CBE) CHALLENGES THE HEAT IN VITORIA
Last Saturday, July 8, 2023, three players from the Estella Badminton Club were present in the town of Vitoria (Álava) to play the Ranqueable VIII Virgen Blanca Territorial Tournament, in the Sub15, Sub19 and Senior categories.
The players of the Estella Badminton Club traveled to the capital of Álava: Irati Baquedano, Francisco Javier Baquedano and Ángel Urra. On a day in which there were very high temperatures, we must appreciate the effort made by our players in really difficult conditions for the practice of the sport, due to the sweltering heat.
The most outstanding results were:
– Champions:
Mixed U15 doubles: Irati Baquedano and Héctor Márquez, from Club Badminton Pamplona.
– Runners-up:
U15 female individual: Irati Baquedano.
Men’s individual A1: Francisco Javier Baquedano.
Men’s doubles A2: Francisco Javier Baquedano and Ángel Urra.
– Third place:
Men’s individual A1: Ángel Urra.
