Engines, two dead at the Southern 100 in the Isle of Man

Tragedy on the Isle of Man. Over the Southern 100one of the great road classics held at Billown Circuit, one of the tests of the 1100cc class took place. It occurred during the evening of Tuesday 11 July a terrible accident, which involved two pilots, a commissioner and a spectator. Two confirmed dead although no details have been disclosed. It is not the first episode that has occurred on this track, which has cost the lives of other riders in the past

Statement from the organizers

The organizers of the race announced the terrible news: “The accident involved two drivers, a marshal and a spectator and it is with deep sadness that the Southern 100 regrets having to announce that this collision resulted in two deaths. We are currently unable to provide further details on the individuals involved in the incident and the current focus of the organizer is to support those involved. Il Coroner of Inquests was informed. A further statement will be issued in due course.”
