For the 21st date of Zone 4 of the Federal A Tournament, on July 9, they defeated Sarmiento de Resistencia (Chaco) 2-1. Facundo Centurión and Román Bravo, the local goals. Franco Olego, from a penalty kick, the goal for the Chacos.
The match started with the local team trying to take possession of the ball, exploiting the left flank and worrying about that sector. Little by little, Sarmiento settled on the field of play and imposed conditions and showed why he is a shooting guard for Gymnastics and Shooting in Zone 4.
Franco Olego and Claudio Vega were unbalancing and decisive in each attack by the Chaco team that tried to hurt the goal defended by Agustín Grinovero on several occasions. Neither of them ended up being effective and they went to the locker room with the score closed.

In the second half, 9 de Julio balanced the actions, the figure of Leandro Larrea began to grow and both Braian Peralta and Agustín López sought a collective construction to reach the goal of Emilio Di Fulvio.
With the improvements in favor of León, DT Maximiliano Barbero began to introduce changes to generate more offensive weight on the rival. Wilson Ruiz Díaz entered for Agustín López.
