AC Milan lost to Juventus on penalties during the American preparation tour. Charles De Ketelaere, who is said to be allowed to leave Milan after a disappointing debut season, was allowed to come on after 57 minutes. CDK could not bring about a change, but he did convert his penalty kick into the penalty series. At Dortmund, two Belgian goals were scored against San Diego Loyal: Thomas Meunier scored the 0-4 after Julien Duranville had opened the score, but the 17-year-old attacker was injured (again) shortly afterwards. A serious anticlimax, because the 17-year-old flank attacker was already struggling with a hamstring injury after his transfer from Anderlecht.
Charles De Ketelaere and Alexis Saelemaekers both came in for Milan after 57 minutes. The 2-2 final score was already on the scoreboard after goals from Malick Thiaw (23”, 0-1), Danilo (33”, 1-1), Olivier Giroud (39”, 1-2) and Daniele Rugani (48 ”, 2-2).

In the penalty shootout, Juventus, where Koni De Winter remained on the bench, won 4-3. Charles De Ketelaere converted his penalty.
The match was part of the Soccer Champions Tour, a tournament in the US in which Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester United also participate.
On Tuesday, Milan will face Barcelona in Las Vegas, a day later Juventus will face Madrid in Orlando. Tomorrow/Saturday, Barça and Real will first play against each other in Arlington.

Borussia Dortmund, also on tour in the US, easily won 0-6 against San Diego Loyal. Julien Duranville scored the opening goal after just two minutes. He had to leave the field fifteen minutes later with what appeared to be a muscle injury. Duranville came over from Anderlecht in January, but was struggling with a hamstring injury. Thomas Meunier made it 0-4 in the 62nd minute. Like Thorgan Hazard, he had come on at half-time.
