Broad Front for Mexico: they also seek to be candidates for the presidency – El Sol de México

In addition to senators, representatives and former governors, 10 citizens ranging from activists to influencers are seeking the candidacy of the Broad Front for Mexico for the presidency.

The first citizen to register was Israel Rivas Bastidas, an activist against the shortage of medicines for children with cancer, who on June 5 went to deliver the documents required to formalize their registration in the process to the Organizing Committee of the Front.

When registering, he assured that he had plenty of reasons to seek the candidacy and that having a daughter diagnosed with cancer motivated him to put health at the center of the debate.

On June 6, Víctor Hugo Gutiérrez Yáñez, former local deputy of the PAN in Mexico City; Sergio Torres Bravo, former Secretary of Security for Cholula, Puebla, and president of the National Network of Police Associations; and Ricardo Urbano Barrón, a business administrator who said he had “a very disruptive proposal that will change the future of the country” through a mechanism called the “hybrid economic model” of which he said he was the author.

June 7 was the day on which more citizens registered and also the most unique characters in the process: Adriana Delarbre López, who said she was a standup artist and “camgirl”, something she defined as being a virtual stripper, came to formalize her intention to champion the Broad Front for Mexico in the race for the presidency.

Delarbre López said that she was an ordinary citizen with no experience in politics: “perhaps I am not an expert in anything, but what I am an expert in is maintaining order, bringing my daughters to hell, so I am going to bring them to hell in the government, that’s why I want to be the leader of the project”.

The next to register was Jaime Duarte Martínez, who defines himself as a Catholic influencer and teaches others to use social networks to spread religion. At the end of the registration ceremony, he shouted, “Long live Christ the King!”

Other citizens who also registered are Mario Facundo Palacios Palacios, a member of Acción Nacional for 20 years and a public accountant who lives in Puebla, according to information published on his social networks; Felipe de Jesús Puch Díaz, national president of the Mexican Center for Trade and Investment (CENMEXCIAC).

Also Adrianha Rangel Flowers, activist; Jose Enriquez Gonzalez, a native of Zapopan and human resources consultant; and José Jaime Enríquez Félix, a teacher with a master’s degree in administration from UNAM.
