Boston: A city of champions and high expectations

Boston is one of 13 cities represented in all four major North American sports leagues. In basketball, there are “Celtics”, in the National Hockey League (NHL), the city is represented by the “Bruins”, in baseball, or MLB, Boston starts with the “Red Sox” brand, and in the National Football League (NFL), the region is represented by the New England “Patriots” team. The company is quite impressive, and it is not for nothing that Boston has been fighting with Los Angeles for the honor of the best sports city in the USA for many years. True, if Los Angeles is represented by even two teams in some leagues, then the Bostonians have achieved all their great success as a team of four.

Shared first place in the ranking of the most successful NBA teams, first place in the Super Bowl titles won, and fourth place in the ranking of the most successful NHL and MLB teams. Honestly, no other city can boast of such success, which means only one thing – the pressure from the fans and the media, as well as from the city as a whole, is constant and never diminishing. That’s history, but how do things look now? Who is Boston’s championship lead and which team is most expected?

It can be said with a guarantee that in the fall, when Kristaps will play his first matches in the “Celtics” shirt, he will definitely not be the main hero of the local media headlines…
