Dhe Blue Bats received the Indians from Dornbirn at their home facility. Before the game, the Vorarlbergers were only one place ahead of the Schwechaters and so an exciting game was expected.
Not only because of the new Batsfield, the Schwechaters are now a fixed part of the Austrian baseball landscape. In terms of sport, things have been quite satisfactory so far this year.
In the end, the two opponents shared the victories like brothers. The Blue Bats clearly lost the first game 2:13, but the Schwechaters were able to win the second game 3:1.
