The next newcomer for star coach Pablo Laso (55 / Real Madrid) – after the French international Sylvain Francisco (25 / from Peristeri BC) and Leandro Bolmaro (22 / CB Canarias).
NBA and EuroLeague experience
Edwards comes with a lot of experience: The US guard played 72 games in the NBA for Detroit and the Boston Celtics (2019-22). Last season he was under contract with Fenerbahce Istanbul, one of the favorites in the EuroLeague, and became Turkish runner-up.
“Carsen is a scoring machine and when he came to Europe everyone thought: ‘Wow’ what a great transfer,'” says Pablo Laso. The ex-Real Madrid coach never took his eyes off Edwards.

“It will be his second season in Europe and we are getting a versatile player who can fill different positions. He is creative and very aggressive on offense, strong and fast on defense. We expect a lot from him because he is someone who can hold his own against anyone.”
Bayern attack!
Edwards is certain: “I chose Munich after talking to the staff there and because I know their goals for the season. I want to play an important role, but I have to earn it first.”
Bayern won the cup last season but missed out on the play-offs in the EuroLeague, and the championship fight ended in the semi-finals.
The goals for the coming season are clear after the last commitments: full title attack.
