Baaxlo’ob Paalalo’ob 2023 Summer Course in Tulum offers inclusive sports and activities for children and young people

More than 150 children and young people are expected to participate in the Baaxlo’ob Paalalo’ob 2023 summer course, which will take place from July 24 to August 4 in Tulum.

Brenda Marlene Hau López, from the Youth and Sports Directorate, explained that there will be activities such as soccer, baseball, boxing, basketball, judo, chess, volleyball, athletics, taekwondo, weight lifting, and disciplines for children with disabilities.

He mentioned that it is very important that children with disabilities are part of these activities, because they are inclusive. There will be activities from eight in the morning to one in the afternoon at the Sports Unit facilities, for boys and girls from 7 to 12 years of age.

“With the participation of all our sports disciplines, educational workshops and recreational activities, we will seek for children and young people to have fun and have skills in the different competitions that we have prepared from July 24 to August 4,” explained the official.
