Ayacucho Gears Up for Thrilling Battle in National Mixed Martial Arts Championship

Ayacucho will witness a stellar battle. The third national mixed martial arts (MMA) championship will take place on August 29 at the facilities of the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD), “Arena Wari”, where the most outstanding athletes in the different contact disciplines will be present.

The region will be represented by the judo and jiu jitsu contact athlete, Ronald Javier Aguado Sauñe, who has been preparing for three months to give his opponent two-time Pan-American champion in kyokushinkai, Ronier Huarancca Pariona, as part of the pre-star fights that he will address starting at four in the afternoon.

“I will do my best on the battlefield. I am sure that I will stand tall in the name of our region and if it is possible to crown ourselves as champions in this third mixed martial arts championship”, Aguado emphasized.

Mixed martial arts is a contact sport where the use of different fighting techniques and styles within the combat ring is allowed, such as kickboxing, boxing, judo, jiu jitsu, taekwondo, wrestling, Greco-Roman, wushu among other contact sports.

On July 29, there will be a confrontation with the rules established in the normal mixed martial arts and will have the best judges who will determine the champion of each match category.

The entrance to be able to witness the combats of contacts, was estimated with a price of 20 soles towards the “Arena Wari”, a place where it will be the scene of emotions and blows that will determine victory or defeat. The event is organized by “Unión Family For Champinios” (UFFC) that will provide a quality show.

Prior to the competition, the contact athlete was in a preparation in his physical, technical and psychological resistance of the sports he manages, with high intensity training ranges; in order to arrive in the best conditions by July 29.

“We have confidence because we have been working with discipline; but not the certainty of winning. I can’t guarantee you anything. I am sure that both fighters will give their all. I am going to fight as if it were one of the last competitions so that the belt stays with us”, concluded Aguado.
