Atlanta Braves Sign Travis d’Arnaud to One-Year, $8 Million Deal with Option for 2025

ATLANTA – Receiver Travis d’Arnaud and the Atlanta Braves have signed a one-year, $8 million deal for next season.

This agreement includes an option year left to the discretion of the team for 2025, for $8 million. There is no buyout clause provided.

The 34-year-old veteran, who has earned $8 million a year from the Braves since 2020, has been paired with receiver Sean Murphy behind the plate.

D’Arnaud is hitting .265 with eight home runs and 23 RBIs in 38 games for the Braves. He set a career-high 18 home runs, drove in 60 runs and batted .268 last year, his first time in the stars.

D’Arnaud earned a Silver Baton in 2020, his first season with the Braves, when he hit nine homers and posted a .321 average.
