The Associação de Futebol de Santarém was present at the National Walking Football Festival, on the 1st and 2nd of July, in Cidade do Futebol, in Oeiras, where it stood out by winning three games with outstanding results.
The selection of the Associação de Futebol de Santarém was represented by the players Maria Joāo Xavier, Sandra Isabelinha, Leonor Félix, Cantarrilha, Manuel Francisco, Abreu, Rola, António Manuel Duarte, Agostinho and Eduardo Cabeço. The team scored 10-2 in the game played against Viana do Castelo, with Viseu it won 21-1 and with Bragança it won 18-2.
The event had the participation of 24 teams, 22 from Regional Associations, teams from the Portuguese Football Federation and the Players Union.
