They have also started preparations for next season at champion Antwerp. They played a practice match against AEK Athens on Saturday.
At home, Mark van Bommel and his troops started their preparation for next season with a 1-1 draw against Lierse last week. On Saturday they came into action again and received AEK Athens in-house.
Toby Alderweireld and co. pushed out firmly and had to swallow no less than three goals against. They themselves did not manage to set goals against that, resulting in a painful defeat. The Supercup is on the program within fifteen days.

AEK Athens is currently 0-1 ahead in the friendly match against Antwerp. Strange that the Greeks post on their social media, but Antwerp does not.
