Among the Spanish athletes who will try to shine are the Paralympic champions Adiaratou Iglesias (T13 class), Yassine Ouhdadi (T13) and the couple formed by Gerard Descarrega (T11) and his guide Guillermo Rojo, all of them members of the Spanish Federation of Sports for the Blind (FEDC).

Three other medalists from the national delegation in the last Games also start with options to get on the podium: Ivn Cano (T13 class), Sara Martínez (T12) and Hector Cabrera (T12), all of them with visual disabilities.

Two representatives are also provided by the Spanish Federation of People with Cerebral Palsy and Acquired Brain Injury with Miriam Martínez (class F34) and Judith Tortosa (T72 for athletes who race with a sports walker).

The competition will consist of 171 events and in 163 of them, those that are part of the Paralympic program in the individual category, the direct qualification place for Paris 2024 will be granted to the gold, silver and bronze medalists, as long as they finish three behind. or more participants. The fourth classified, in addition, will get a place for his country that, unlike the previous ones, will not be nominal.

In the last edition, held in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) in 2019, Spain won eight medals and nine places for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
