In order to deepen the integration of sports and education and promote the development of youth basketball in Hedong District, the 2023 “Running Boys” Basketball Competition for Primary and Secondary Schools in Hedong District kicked off on the basketball court of Tianjin No. 102 Middle School. More than 460 people from 39 teams from 27 elementary and middle schools in Hedong District participated in the competition and had 81 fierce competitions.
On the field, the contestants fully carried forward the sportsmanship spirit of “higher, faster, stronger, and more united”. Goals from the line… Outside the arena, the cheerleaders cheered and cheered with enthusiasm.
After intense competition, Tianjin No. 45 Middle School and Tianjin No. 98 Middle School won the top two in the high school women’s group; Tianjin No. 7 Middle School, Tianjin No. 45 Middle School Team 1, Tianjin No. 102 middle school credits won the top three in the junior high school men’s group; Tianjin No. 28 Middle School, Tianjin No. 102 Middle School, and Xiangshan Road Middle School in Hedong District won the top three in the junior high school women’s group; Dong Primary School and Liyuan Primary School won the top three in the primary school male group; Dongxing Primary School, Xiangshan Road Primary School, and Second Experimental Primary School in Hedong District won the top three in the primary school female group.
This competition is jointly sponsored by the Hedong District Sports Bureau and the Hedong District Education Bureau. Guide more young people to participate in basketball and physical exercise to enhance their physical fitness and promote overall physical and mental development. In the next step, Hedong District will continue to increase the integration of sports and education, actively carry out campus sports, organize a variety of youth events, and promote the youth sports in the district to a new level.
