CHIAPAS.- With the support of the Chiapas State Sports Institute headed by Tania Robles Velázquez, the Chiapas Judokas Alliance chaired by Luis Alberto Damas Martínez, held the 2023 Judo Seminar for two days, where three judokas who recently won medals could be counted on. for Mexico in the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.

The director of Indeporte, Tania Robles, applauded the initiative of said association for bringing national teams, for which she also joined this seminar and, in addition to facilitating the sports facilities, provided accommodation to the judokas from Veracruz and Tabasco , who stayed at the “Aremi Fuentes Zavala” Youth Village.

It should be noted that the participation of Chiapas in the 2023 Conade Nationals recently concluded, where several medals were obtained thanks to María Fernanda Cruz (gold); Eliot Pérez García, Luis García Moreno and Jessica Gómez Cruz, all three with silver; as well as Zurisadai Magaña Martínez (bronze); so these and other athletes are benefited by obtaining more knowledge.

Precisely, Luis Alberto Damas Martínez, president of the Chiapas Judokas Alliance, pointed out that “the objective was for the national selected judokas in the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023 to share their knowledge, so that the athletes from Chiapas and the states of Veracruz and Tabasco feel motivated to continue in this sport”.

Damas Martínez thanked the support of Indeporte and its director Tania Robles for the space and accommodation in the Villa Juvenil; She also recognized the effort of the judokas from Chiapas and from the other two southeastern states to be at this seminar, with approximately 50 who attended during the two days.
