If you take into account the last ten years (from 2013 to 2023), Latvian youth have won this Baltic championship or match twice (in 2019 and 2020). The second places have been won five times, and the third place has remained three times. This time, unfortunately, another third place has to be added. In Šiauliai, Estonia won with 295 points, Lithuanians took second place (259.5 points) and Latvia took third place with 236 points.
However, there was no lack of success for Latvian track and field athletes. The best results of the season (Lat SB) were achieved by eight Latvian track and field athletes in the U18 age group. Latvian athletes won in 12 disciplines, took second place in nine, and took third place in 11 disciplines.
