After the national championships are over and the champions have already been determined, the focus shifts to another competition: the Champions League. The finale of the prestigious tournament is traditionally the grand finale to a long and exhausting season.

On Saturday, June 10th, Manchester City and Inter Milan will fight for the handle pot in the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul. The whistle for the final will sound at 9 p.m. German time.

It is the second time that a Champions League final has taken place in Istanbul. The most recent was the legendary clash between AC Milan and Liverpool in 2005, which the Reds won in a dramatic penalty shoot-out.

Now, however, it is not AC Milan but Inter in the final. The Nerazzurri prevailed against the Rossoneri of all people in the semi-finals. Man City effortlessly eliminated defending champions Real Madrid in the last four.

While the games of the Champions League could not be seen on German free TV up to this point, this is different for the final. Man City vs Inter will be broadcast live and in full on free-to-air TV from ZDF transfer.

The private broadcaster starts the football evening at 7:20 p.m. with a “Magazine” program. This is reported after an interruption ZDF then back at 8:25 p.m. for pre-reporting. Moderator Jochen Breyer and experts Per Mertesacker and Christoph Kramer will be there. Then Claudia Neumann slips into the role of commentator.

The ZDF also provides a live stream transmission – free of charge zdf.de.

The streaming service also offers an opportunity to watch the final live DAZN at. The transmission starts at 8 p.m., then Laura Wontorra takes care of the moderation, Alex Schlueter is on duty as a reporter during the game. Commentator is Uli Hebe, the expert duo are Michael Ballack and Sebastian Kneißl.

DAZN, which, in addition to football spectacles, also broadcasts other sports such as tennis, darts, handball and US sports, requires a paid subscription to access its live stream offering. This basically comes in three different packages called DAZN Unlimited, DAZN Standard and DAZN World. However, only the Unlimited and Standard versions offer the Champions League.
