Timma was selected in the first round with the ninth number in the “Big3” league draft.

The Latvian basketball player started this season without a club, but in March he made his debut in the championship of Puerto Rico in the ranks of Umakao “Grises”, but after playing four games in which he averaged nine points, won 2.8 rebounds and gave 2.5 assists, Timmas and the club parted ways.

Last season, the 30-year-old basketball player tested his strength in the G League of the National Basketball Association (NBA), representing the Lakeland “Magic” team.

During his career, Timma played abroad in the teams “Olympiakos” of Piraeus, “Zenit” of St. Petersburg, “Baskonia” of Vitoria, “Unics” of Kazan and “Khimki” of the Moscow region, but in Latvia he represented “ASK Rīga”, ASK/”Juniors”, “Liepājas lauvas” , “Ventspils” and “VEF Riga”.

Last year, “Trilogy” became the “Big3” champion for the second year in a row, while “Aliens”, represented by Lasmani, stopped in the semi-finals in the playoffs, losing to the next champion.

In the “Big3” league, 50 points and a lead of at least two points are required for victory. Game time is unlimited, but one attack is allotted 14 seconds. One of the most important differences from the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) tournaments is that in the “Big3” league there is not only a three-point shot, but also a four-point shot.
