The report for the 2022-2023 academic year was read at the ceremony. The Sports Service has offered 24 activities or programs at a flat rate, 6 university sports schools and 99 courses or sports activities.
During the course of the gala, the awards were given to:
BEST UNIVERSITY ATHLETE. For his sports history, career and result achieved in the 2023 Spanish University Championships, in the athletics modality; 110 meter hurdles, the award for best male university athlete was awarded to Alejandro Romero Ruiz.
BEST UNIVERSITY ATHLETE. For his brilliant international sports career achieved in recent years, for the recognition he has obtained as a relevant person in Malaga sport, and for the promotion of karate among university students, through the sports science degree, the University of Malaga awards the award for best female athlete to María Torres García.
