After a month in Europe, the Formula 1 circus will cross the Atlantic again for the Canadian Grand Prix. Watch here when Max Verstappen and Nyck de Vries come into action in Montreal. The Dutch times are shown.
In Canada, the 8th of a total of 22 races is scheduled. Verstappen has fond memories of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Last year he crossed the finish line first after an exciting duel with Carlos Sainz.
With his victory in Barcelona (June 4), Verstappen became the youngest driver with forty Grand Prix victories. The 25-year-old Dutchman is now comfortably leading the World Cup standings with 170 points. His first competitor is his teammate Sergio Pérez with 117 points.
After the race in Canada, the drivers will return to Europe for Red Bull Racing’s home race. The GP of Austria will be held on Sunday 2 July.
