The French striker was good for twenty goals in 33 matches at SK Beveren and that earned him a foreign transfer. The Swiss FC Basel has reached an agreement with the Waaslanders, who got him for free last year and now earn almost 3 million euros (plus a resale percentage). No player has made so much money after a season in the Challenger Pro League. At the beginning of next week, Barry will sign the contract with the twenty-time Swiss champion.
