The director of the Institute of Youth and Sports, (Injudet), Jessyca Mayo Aparicio, reported that from June 7 to July 25, 12,210 athletes from various states of the country will be in Tabasco, who will compete in different disciplines. .

For this reason, he said that the CONADE 2023 Nationals will mark a before and after in Tabasco, “it will be the rebirth of Tabasco sports” since there is a firm commitment from Governor Carlos Manuel Merino Campos, to support Tabasco athletes with everything purpose that children, adolescents and young people have options to deal with and move away from vices and antisocial behaviors.

The state official called on everyone to “embrace” this event, being empathetic, tolerant, but above all taking care of the athletes and supporting the participants from Tabasco.

“Just as the ambassador is supported by an election, we must support our athletes and Tabasco,” specifying that there will be 42 days of competition in multiple venues in municipalities such as Centro, Macuspana and Teapa.

He highlighted that 14 disciplines will be hosted with athletes from all over the country, such as chess, athletics, breaking, basketball, 3×3 basketball, baseball, association football, associated wrestling, judo, karate, softball, tennis, taekwondo and for the first time, the baseball 5.

In an interview, he said that the CONADE 2023 Nationals are a dream come true, because Tabasco had never been the venue. He recalled that in 2005 he had to be the sub-headquarters of 5 disciplines and now due to good management by the president Carlos Manuel Merino before CONADE, all the powers will be held in the entity.

He pointed out that the competition will bring a significant economic benefit, because all will require services, hotels, restaurants, cafeterias, shopping malls, among others.

“There are 12,210 athletes, but also, the parents of the athletes, their relatives, press, visitors come, it will be a great spill and a historic moment for Tabasco and for the sport,” he asserted.
