The IES La Orden, seeded number 1

He Badminton Club IES La Orden will start as the top seed in Group 1 of the 44th European Club Championship 2023 that will be held in Oviedo from June 19 to 23. The current champion of the Spanish league, who qualified in 5th place in the last edition of the European competition, has already set himself the first objective of retaining the lead during the group stage that will take place the first three days, from June 19 to 21.

On Thursday the 22nd the semifinals will be played and on Friday the 23rd will be the grand final that will conclude with the coronation of the new European champions.

In the competition, 13 teams will participate that will be divided into 4 groups (3 groups of 3 teams and 1 group of 4 teams). The first of them will be headed by the albiazul team.

Other seeded

Group 2 will be seeded by the Italians from Matex Marabadminton. At the head of Group 3 will be the runner-up in the Spanish league, the Rinconada-Seville and finally the Norwegian set Kristiansand Bk will be seeded in Group 4.

Now it only remains to know who will be the rivals of IES La Orden in this edition of the European. The draw for the group stage will take place live on Monday, June 12 at 9:00 a.m. and you can follow it live on www.badmintoneurope.tv

The championship will be officially presented on June 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the Oviedo City Hall.
