The Castilla player Vinicius Tobias denounces racist insults in the Eldense field

Vinicius Tobias Castilla’s Brazilian right-back, denounced racist insults in the match for promotion against Eldense on Sunday, regretted that they were also carried out by “a boy” who called him “monkey” and showed his pain for a situation that he assured is repeated often and that “you can’t imagine when it hurts.”

The saddest thing is when we don’t expect that from a child. A child calling me a monkey,” Vinicius Tobias wrote in a story on his Instagram account in which a minor behind him is seen screaming when he is about to take a throw-in against Eldense at the Nuevo Pepico Amat stadium.

The Brazilian winger wanted to expand his feelings in a new publication. “It’s sad to see players going through this kind of prejudice. It was not the first time nor the second time that this happened to me. It’s happening every day,” he denounced.

“You can’t imagine how much it hurts. This has to end now, the limits have been crossed. Skin colors mean nothing, we are all the same. We want respect. It’s the bare minimum!” added.

His teammate in the Madrid subsidiary, the striker Iker Bravosent him a public message of support.

“Brother, I know these are difficult times but I wanted to tell you that you have to be strong. Nobody deserves to be insulted, but even less because of RACISM!!! A lot of strength brother, both to you and to all those who have suffered. I love you my Brazilian. Dancing a lot Vinicius Tobias and Vinicius Junior. Always Brazilian and with joy“, wrote.
