Texas Rangers He seemed predisposed, at least in the assembly of his squad, to great things in the 2023 season of the Major League Baseball (MLB), one in which they had aspirations of reaching the World Series.
One of the great additions that the Texan team made during the offseason was the arrival of the right-handed pitcher Jacob deGrom, who left the New York Mets for the first time in his career.
But, after thinking that he would be out for about a month due to a new injury. the Rangers confirmed a new update on the right-hander’s health. Bolavip tells you the details.
Jacob deGrom will be out for the rest of the season
Texas Rangers confirm that Jacob deGrom will have to undergo a Tommy John operationwhich will give you a recovery time that is around, depending on the case, between 12 and 15 months.
This is another blow to the career of deGrom, who has dealt with injuries for much of it, and has failed to make more than 15 starts since 2019.
It’s also a blow to the Rangers, who signed the right-hander this offseason to a five-year, $185 million total value deal. Texas, despite that, is comfortably leading its division, several games ahead of the Houston Astros.
