Electronic Arts, EA SPORTS y Metalheadhave confirmed the worldwide launch of Super Mega Baseball 4, the latest installment in the critically acclaimed Super Mega Baseball series that incidentally arrives for the first time on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with cross-play in Pennant Race and Online Leagues on the new platforms; as well as on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.

Super Mega Baseball 4 offers immersive gameplay that remains true to what gamers love. With Baseball Hall of Famer David “Big Papi” Ortiz being the first cover athlete, more than 200 Baseball legends like Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Jose Bautista, Randy Johnson and more are set to enter the diamond in the beloved Super Mega League All-Stars experience.

Super Mega Baseball 4 brings the biggest presentation upgrade in franchise history, with new graphics, improved player animations, and new stadiums. The title includes several new features through basic modes such as Exhibition, Franchise, Pennant Race, Season and Online Leagues, including:

Baseball Legends: Over 200 baseball legends are built into Super Mega Baseball 4, along with beloved Super Mega Baseball characters. Play in a League of Legends with teams organized by era, or mix it all up with Shuffle Draft, a new feature that allows you to recruit Legends and Super Mega All Stars to create a unique roster.

New Platforms and Cross-Play: For the first time Super Mega Baseball 4 expands to PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S, including the all-important cross-play in Pennant Race and Online Leagues on the new platforms; as well as on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.

Community Requests: From Franchise Mode improvements to the new deckbuilding-inspired Shuffle Draft feature, expanded player skins, and a new team chemistry system that adds a new layer of strategy, dozens of fan-requested improvements fans combine to add a new depth of gameplay. From automatic walks and runners, two-way players or expanded bullpens, to customizable free agent rosters, and more.

Classic Creators League: A new league that users can choose to play in, consisting of some of the biggest names in the world of baseball, including Jomboy Media, Mighty Goat, Koogs46, Shelfy, Fuzzy and many more.

Enhanced Visuals: Experience authentic, cinematic baseball, powered by new cameras, cinematic animations and lighting that provide a life-like ambiance in each ballpark.

Enhanced Audio: From the ground to the stands, new crowd, narration and Foley audios give in-game sound a huge boost. Additionally, users are immersed in the sounds of baseball with a new soundtrack featuring original and licensed music.

It should be said that EA Play members on Xbox, PlayStation and Steam will unlock a 10-hour trial of Super Mega Baseball 4.
