Summer sports week for primary school children at the start of the summer holidays

Sportservice Veenendaal is organizing the Summer Sports Week again at the start of the summer holidays. Around the SKF korfball fields at Sportcomplex De Groene Velden, children up to the age of 12 can get acquainted with different types of sports for a week. For this, Sportservice receives the cooperation of a large number of Veenendaal sports associations.

Harm Jan van Ginkel (Sportservice Veenendaal): “We have been organizing this sports week for a few years now and it is a big party every year. This year we will hold the sports week at the start of the summer holidays, from Monday 10 to Thursday 13 July. We have expanded the capacity so that 240 children can participate. The nice thing is that more and more associations are joining, so that the range of sports is larger and more varied. There is now also a triathlon and twirl section. Of course our classics are not missing, such as badminton, kickboxing and hockey. We gather in the morning from 9 am, the program starts every morning at 9:20 am. The children can go home at 12.30 pm. We ask a small fee of €10 for participation in this sports week.
